Data for turkeys and broiler chickens span years 2013-2024 and represent more than 73% and 87% of annual U.S. production, respectively. Data for layer chickens span years 2016-2024 and represent 47% of annual U.S. table egg production.
This project represents an ongoing partnership among the U.S. Poultry & Egg Association, the layer, broiler chicken and turkey companies of the U.S., the National Chicken Council, the National Turkey Federation, United Egg Producers and the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.
