We are proud to release updated on-farm antimicrobial use data for U.S. turkeys, broiler chickens, and, for the first time, layer chickens. Data for turkeys and broiler chickens span years 2013-2021 and represent 70% and 80% of annual U.S. production respectively. Data for layer chickens span years 2016-2021 and represent 45% of annual U.S. table egg production.

This project represents ongoing partnerships with the FDA, USDA-APHIS, U.S. Poultry & Egg Association, National Chicken Council, National Turkey Federation, United Egg Producers as well as layer, broiler chicken and turkey companies of the U.S.

We provide integrated, multi-disciplinary solutions to some of today's most pressing infectious disease challenges. Some of the approaches we employ include:

  • System dynamics modeling
  • Quantitative risk assessment
  • Molecular epidemiology

We have expertise in several areas including antimicrobial resistance, food safety, emerging pathogens, scientific writing, and grant preparation.
